A survey carried out by Recruit Co. has revealed the "most desirable places to live" in Greater Tokyo, with the top two spots actually going to places outside Tokyo Prefecture.

6. MEGURO
7. IKEBUKURO
8. SHINAGAWA
9. TOKYO STATION AREA
10. URAWA (Saitama Prefecture)
The survey was conducted via the internet last November among people in their 20s to 40s living in the greater Tokyo area, with valid responses being received from 9,335 people. The respondents were asked to select the top three station areas they would like to live in.
