TOKYO GIG PICK: REGURGITATOR vs THE OSAKA RAMONES (JULY)

A measly 5000 of your fast depreciating yen is all it takes to get you in to see what could be either (a) a shambolic mess or (b) one of the greatest shows on the planet (meanwhile across town tedious Neo-Soul Kween ERYKAH BADU is stiffing punters for ¥30,000!) Warming up, everybody's favourite Obasan-rockers SHONEN KNIFE will do that thing where they dress up as the Ramones and bash out New York quasi-punk classics, like "The KKK Took My Baby Away" etc., followed by Oz Alt-rock legends REGURGITATOR who will throw down their eclectic mix of rock, punk, electronica, hip hop, and irreverent Aussie humour as part of their Asia tour. What could go wrong? Quite a lot actually, but probably in a good way.
