A quirky company called Nippon Sample Crafts, which may or may not be based in Tokyo, has decided that the only thing better than eating sushi is wearing it.
That's right, they've turned the Japanese expertise in hyper-realistic food replicas into a line of dapper headwear that look exactly like your favourite dishes.
Above, student favourite, hayashi rice, topped off with a pinch of fukujinzuke (bright red pickled vegetable relish).
You may have heard the phrase "use your noodle," which means to use your brain to solve a problem or be creative. Well, it doesn't get more creative than wearing what looks like a visit to your favourite ramen bar on your head (although I'm not sure what problems that solves)!

The food hats are engineered for maximum absurdity, although I hear that some models of the "ramen bowl fedora" come complete with useful dangling noodles that double as headphone cords.
But be warned, crowning yourself king of the kitchen may lead to unwanted encounters with soy sauce and flailing chopsticks!
